Who wants to feel this damn alone and scared?
Maybe it happened a long time ago. Perhaps it’s still happening…
Either way, no one else knows what it’s doing to you.
And even though you feel like your fear is making you crumble, you try to keep it to yourself.
“Do they see me at all?”
Thoughts and memories from your past keep you up at night, but that’s not the worst part. The worst is getting up in the morning, knowing you have to cover it all up with a smile… pretending that you’re not falling apart inside.
Your coworkers describe you with words like “smiley,” “upbeat,” and “kind.” Their descriptions are meant to be compliments, but for you, they’re a sharp blade reminding you how alone you are in your pain.
Even though you have been turning down social invitations for months, no one has checked in. It’s hard to tell if that means you successfully tricked them into thinking you are just busy, or they just don’t care.
Struggling alone is not working…
But there’s good news: You no longer have to be alone.
I help women like you who struggle with intense fear, helplessness, and grief.
Through individual therapy, you can deepen your understanding of yourself, feel safe in your body, and uncover your inner power.
Wherever your starting point is, I will listen deeply and carefully to what you say without judgment or fear.
Often, women with trauma can become disconnected from themselves, not knowing how they feel or what they want.
We will build on your strengths to support you as you reconnect with your body and emotions through mindfulness, movement, and discussion.
When you are feeling overwhelmed, your mind starts racing. Everything seems to speed up, from your breath to your speech.
When this happens during a session, I will pause you and invite you to notice your breath. Next, we will extend your exhales and slow everything back down.
Once you begin to show signs of being relaxed again, we will process what just happened. When it happens on your own, you will know what to do.
Right now, your past struggles are living in the present. Together, we will discover ways to keep the pain of your past from defining your future so you can live in empowerment.
I believe you found this page for a reason.
Reaching out for therapy has been a long time coming.
But no matter how many therapists you look at, you haven’t been able to make the call.
It has been scary to think of talking about all the pain you feel.
Don’t worry – I will not throw you into the deep end when you don’t know how to swim.
We will work together first to build your coping skills. Then, whenever you are ready, we can start to process the pain you are feeling so that you can start feeling happy again.
It’s time to release the pain of your past, giving you peace of mind and a life filled with passion and excitement.
